Hysterosalpingogram

Hysterosalpingogram- an X-Ray study of the uterus, fallopian tubes after an injection of a contrast media this is to evaluate tubal potency and to determine the presence of pathology in the uterine cavity. This for diagnostic procedure purposely to study sterility condition.
During the procedure the patient placed in lithotomy position and the radiopaque dye injected into the uterine cavity and tubes throug the use of cannula. This X-ray films shows the path where the contrast materials distrbuted.
