Growth and Development of the Embryo/Fetus
1. Pre-embryonic stage (zygote)-it is period when fertilized egg implants ito the uterus throug the fallopian tube. It occurs for 12-14 days fertilization

2. Embryonic stage-begins at the 3rd week after conception and ends at the end of eight week of gestation. It occurs in this stage the formation of organs and looks distictly human

3. Fetal stage- this begins in the ninth week and ends in the 38th week of gestation or at the time of delivery.
